Ceramics, designed with form and function in mind Produced with care on Bornholm since 1859

All figures are hand-painted by our skilled painter

In the 1930s, the ceramicist Gertrud Kudielka was for several periods at Hjorths Fabrik, where she gained great importance for design and shaping.

Among other things, she produced a wealth of small fabulous animals. Many of these beautiful little figures, we still produce at Hjorth's factory. Each individual figure is hand-decorated.

The figures The Egg and the Walnut are also classic known shapes on Hjorth's. Unfortunately, we do not know their origin, but that does not make them any less beautiful.
